Meredith Paul, M.S., CCC-SLP
Meredith graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Appalachian State University.
Meredith has worked in a variety of settings including: schools, private practices, university clinics, and hospitals and has a wide variety of experiences in treating pediatric patients with various speech and language delays. Meredith’s therapeutic skillset includes knowledge of several techniques such as Hodson’s Cycles Approach, Kaufman Speech Praxis Program (KSPP), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), basic sign language, Seeing Stars, Visualizing and Verbalizing, Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech (LiPS). Her focus of continuing education has been in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and feeding disorders. She is trained in the following: Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), Words for Life, UNITY Language System, Prentke Romich Company (PRC) devices and Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD). Meredith is LSVT Loud certified which allows her to work with adults and pediatrics with dysarthria. Meredith enjoys working with patients regarding issue in feeding, dysphagia, phonological disorders, tongue thrusts, frontal and lateral lisps, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), developmental delays, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She also is Triple P Level 2 trained and trained in using AmpCare-Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation.
Meredith is a Raleigh native and takes advantage of local festivals and music events. She enjoys going to the beach, cooking, college football.
