Gia received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University, then she graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology also from Towson University. She is licensed in NC.

Gia enjoys working with children from infancy to school-age and has experience with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gestalt Language Processors, Orofacial Myofunctional disorders, pediatric feeding disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

She has a passion for supporting expressive and receptive language development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and implementing myofunctional therapy techniques for functional carryover in children with Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. Gia’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with her clients and seeing their skills flourish in and outside of therapy.

In her free time, Gia enjoys being outside, reading books, trying new restaurants, and playing fetch with her Rottweiler puppy!
