Jessica Pruette

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jessica attended Appalachian State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.


Jessica is happy to return to Capitol City Speech Therapy after working in the public school system. She has experience working with children with a wide variety of abilities. Jessica enjoys working with people with language delays, phonological disorders, augmentative communication needs, fluency disorders, and pragmatic delays. She has specialized training in DIR/Floortime, Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), and is Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk. Jessica strives to make progress through play by engaging in client centered activities tailored to their needs. She encourages parents to be active participants in therapy sessions.


Jessica is an Angier native and lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband and son. Away from work, Jessica is always reading at least two books, thinking about her family’s next camping weekend, and planning a road trip to see Minor League Baseball.
