Rebecca Wooddell

Speech-Language Pathologist

Rebecca attended West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.


Rebecca enjoys working with toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, and middle and high school students with a variety of communication disorders. She has experience evaluating and treating children who are “late talkers” and those with articulation disorders, phonological disorders, developmental language delays, receptive and expressive language disorders, and social/pragmatics disorders. She has experience treating patients with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Down syndrome, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She utilizes different treatment methods, including the traditional articulation approach, the cycles approach, family-centered approaches, direct language intervention, and basic sign language. Rebecca always aims for therapy sessions to be fun and to focus on functional outcomes that are appropriate for each individual child and their families.


Away from work, Rebecca enjoys cooking, painting, traveling, and relaxing with friends and family.
